Almanac takes pride in being a family-friendly pillar of the Alameda community - kids & dogs are both welcomed and encouraged to join in the fun! We have two sandboxes, an arcade, a fully astroturfed beergarden, and even (sometimes) a ball pit & bouncy house set up for family fun.  Note that dogs must be well-behaved and on leash at all times and kids must have adult supervision at all times.

Our space is huuuuggge! Almanac is a wonderful space for large parties and groups. Large walk-up groups are welcomed- however, advance notice is greatly appreciated so we can be better prepared serve your group promptly- Please shoot us a quick email at alamedataproom@almanacbeer.com with some notes; party size, when you're coming in, etc. 

Want to reserve tables at a specific area in our taproom? By the sandbox? Near a TV for the big game? We offer table reservations at a rate of $100 per table as a beverage minimum. Meaning we simply track your group's total tab, and should you be under the minimum at the end of your reservation, our staff will kindly sell you a gift card for the remainder. Reservations can be requested by emailing alamedataproom@almanacbeer.com.

Almanac is proud to host Scolari's and Marley G's Pizza 7 days/week, open to close. We will always have a minimum of two food partners on site. On weekends, we feature additional food partners in our beer garden - click here to see the rotating weekend food truck schedule.

Whether you're interested in an intimate gathering with 10 people, or a company holiday party for 500- Almanac has you covered. With four different private event spaces, Almanac is the venue for every budget. Want a private sandbox for a birthday party? A movie night on the 25 foot projector screen? Simply inquire via this form and we will happily schedule a tour of our space and provide you with a quote within 48 hours.

There is always ample street parking around the brewery! There are two public lots adjacent to our brewery; no more than a minute's walk from our front door. Public parking is never an issue at Almanac!

Almanac couldn't be happier to feature family friendly amusements all day, every day! Please not the following:

The main beer garden (10,000 square foot turfed lawn, sandbox) is open all day, every day. We only close this sandbox when it's actively raining outside. Otherwise, it's a safe bet the sandbox is available. Best to arrive early though - it's the most popular area of our brewery when the sun is shining!

The Cellar East (arcade, sandbox, and turfed patio) is open to the public all day, every day. It is, however, available to be booked for a private event - in which case it will be temporarily unavailable. If you would like to 100% confirm that it will be open, it would be best to inquire at alamedataproom@almanacbeer.com

The Barrel Hall (private bar and event venue) often transforms into our indoor beer garden during inclement weather to ensure there's always a space for you during your visit. If you would like to 100% confirm that the Barrel Hall will be open for your visit, it would be best to inquire at alamedataproom@almanacbeer.com

While we offer 25+ rotating house-made craft beers on tap at any given time, our menu goes way beyond just beer! Almanac is proud to serve a rotating menu of guest wines, ciders, & rotating soda and juice selection. We even have house-made slushies (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and even warm/spiced beverages in the winter-time! Our menu can be found here, and is updated weekly.

We are proud of our extensive donation program which supports a range of organizations. Due to the significant commitments already in place, we are not currently accepting new donation requests.
